Paul H. Deutsch, M.D., RPh

Paul H. Deutsch, M.D., RPh, graduated magna cum laude from the University Of Connecticut School Of Pharmacy. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Deutsch is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pharmacology and is on staff at Backus Hospital as an Internist / Adult Medicine. Dr. Deutsch is a Certified Medical Examiner for Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers – DOT, CDL,. 

 

Dr. Deutsch was named Castle Connolly “Top Doc” by Connecticut Magazine multiple years, most recently 2024, and has appeared as the premier doctor on the cover of the magazine.

 

Dr. Deutsch is a lifelong resident of Norwich and graduate of Norwich Free Academy. His wife, Dianne Deutsch, is the Practice Manager.  In his free time, he enjoys playing music, attending concerts and is an avid UCONN basketball fan
